Cheney's Been Behind Bars Before

Vice President Dick Cheney may get to know the inside of a federal prison someday but it won't be the first time the veep has been behind bars. First behind one to get snookered then later after being picked up for DWI twice. Once at age 21 and again at age 22.

The interesting thing about it is this...

The police department, Kourbelas said, "wouldn't have had the ability to automatically check with other jurisdictions to find out if anyone had had prior arrests or convictions. We could have arrested Jack the Ripper back then and had no idea what he had done."

In other words the veep failed to inform the presiding judge in the second DWI hearing that he had a previous arrest, thus saving himself money, jail time and the loss of his lisence.

He would never lie again would he?

Would he?
