If they keep repeating it people will stop questioning it's actual truth.

Repetition repetition repetition, standard procedure for mind control. We see it in ads everyday. It's how myths come to be taken as unquestioned fact. It's a common tactic for BushCo and the Republicans too. It's how we got into the Iraq War, it's how Bush got reelected, it's how the Fed's are moving the Katrina blame on to the Locals and State and it's no surprise that it's how the Delay deflection defence is being played.

It's their modus operandi. Ignore the reality, torture the messenger, and repeat repeat repeat.

Never mind that 12 of 15 elected officials that Earle has prosecuted were Democrats. Never mind the laws in Texas. Never mind that a Grand Jury handed down the indictment - implying that there was sufficient evidence present for the charge.

Repeat after me oh faithful Repugnic minions... It is a partisan attack and nothing more .... we need to let the legal process work, the charge against Delay isn't true and even if it is he didn't do anything wrong... but it's really just a partisan attack repeat the repetition...repeat the repetition...repeat the repetition ....

In the comments in the DeLay Indicted! post we find BRT repeating the repetition.

But in all fairness, there is some pretty compelling information out there (I KNOW who's getting it out) but compelling nevertheless, that this is a phony, trumped up, political vendetta charge that has no chance of sticking. (BRT)

That is the TALKING POINT... The current and #1 TP used for the Delay deflection.

Nobody has shown a shred of ANY ... I REPEAT ... ANY evidence that the claim is true.

Where is this "compelling" evidence that the charge is "phony, trumped up" a "political vendetta" and "has no chance of sticking" ?

It's inside their heads of course. It's a grand conspiracy headed by the Godless Democrats to destroy Saint Delay and Jesus Bush. Never mind the facts... never mind any evidence to the contrary they just keep repeating the repetition...
