I Heart Serge Gainsbourg

I must confess that like so many that have come before me I have a Serge Gainsbourg obsession that I have taken to the extreme, including a graveside vigil at the Montparnasse cemetary in Paris just days before 9/11.

Here is Serge's incomparable "Soixante Neuf - Année Erotique" or Sixty Nine - Year of Love.

And here it is in English as performed by Australian Mick Harvey who has toiled endlessly to bring the magic of Serge to the anglophone world.
