Death of a troll

If you go to Stirling Newberry's article — "Just The Facts" and then read the comments you'll come to this:

- I saw lots of press everywhere I went and did not see any restrictions on their movements as long as they had credentials.

The reports cited state that the press is being removed now, incidental to the PR drive.

- I'm concerned what a large scale investigation might do to our party, since our local government knew about cracks in the levee for several years and did nothing, and our local leaders in New Orleans were wholly unprepared, even in the days prior to the hurricane making landfall.

Well that's been true in Louisiana for a long time. Local corruption, in both parties, is one of the realities that made federal initiatives part of the New Deal.

I've called for Blanco to clean up Louisiana's state government, as this event shows that the corruption there is a hazard to people's life liberty and property.

-Our governor never made a formal request to the federal government for emergency aid, although the federal government was taking steps to help prior to the disaster.

Black letter lie.

- We can not point fingers at the federal government, because as few people seem to know, the feds are not responsible for local emergency preparedness. We have a problem folks and investigations won't make it better and won't help us in 2008.

That's a Bush talking point.

I'm afraid that on balance people's looking at you as a DINOcrat (and not even that since you aren't willing to state your name) are well founded.

Particularly since you are logged in from Pheonix Arizona, and not any place in or near Louisiana.

Ahhh ... the new bloodsport .... smell the blood ... watch the death throes .... listen to the enraged squeals as the troll is gored ....

Enjoy watching somebody who wanted to prostitute the deaths of fellow human beings, in his case fellow Americans for narrow politcal sectional gain get caught.

But learn the lesson:

They're shameless - the facts are bad enough without spin. Don't spin stick to the facts and go get 'em. They only rule the roost because you let them rule the roost. They're a backlash and they're frightened. So get lashing.
