Another Mykeru Classic

Our man in Christ (Amen), the Reverend Mykeru comes off of a brief blogging hiatus with another hit:

When faced with a group of people as unprincipled and corrupt as those calling the shots these days and their equally compromised and corrupted paid apologists, one can't expect that they will be anything like civil, although it's not surprising that they will toss that word around as if they own it. Polemicists will argue with you, lawyers will sue you, gangsters immediately resort to gangland tactics and scumbags will be scumbags. The ruling party, among their other notable achievements, have lied us into a war that has sacrificed tens of thousands of innocent lives and so, with that amount of blood on their hands there's really no limit to what they will attempt to do in order to shut people up and prevent them from making the perfectly banal observation that although they may be super-patriots and right with God in their own imagination, out in the real world they are mere liars and murderers.

Mykeru makes me feel warm and tingly inside.
