Short of resignations...
Well, if Hinderaker and Jesse and Michelle Malkin aren't going to resign, then I don't think it is asking too much for them to say something along these lines. They could release it as a joint-statement:
"We were wrong. The Schiavo talking-points memo did indeed come from "our side." We apologize for being so strident in attempting to place responsibility for the memo elsewhere and distract our readers from the real issue at hand, which was that "our side" cynically used the plight of that poor woman for political gain. This is a humiliating episode that we would like to put behind us. We hope that our readers can find it in their hearts to forgive us."
I, for one, would be willing to forgive them if they released such a statement.
Wouldn't you?
