Michael Palin at 100,000 Miles

After 100,000 miles, Palin gives up globetrotting

I just love Michael Palin and appreciate the wonderful face that he's put on adventure travel since he started doing travel documentaries in 1988 (which was, coincidentally, the same year that I made my first of close to 20 extended trips to Asia to date).

I was not aware of his recent Himalayan travel documentary until reading this article. I see from his website that one of the places he visited was Srinigar, perhaps the most strange, beautiful and wonderful city I have ever visited. (Srinigar also happened to be the place where I first inadvertently found myself in the middle of a war zone, which wasn't so wonderful...)

Has anyone seen Palin's Himalaya series yet?
