How many Asians does it take to clean Uncle Sam's colon?

2.3+ billion.
While we've been spinning our wheels in hysterics over scary Arabs and worrying about gay sex, gay marriage and Janet Jackson's naked breast on television, the Chinese have been "quietly outmaneuvering us everywhere" with the Indians coming along right behind them.
China's time has come, and at this stage of the game we're virtually powerless to stand in their way. In the grand scheme of things they've this time in the sun - the Chinese suffered immensely throughout the 20th century.
Fortunately for us, we play a big role in China's ascendency - our economies depend on one another and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. Hitching a ride on China's rising star will be an important facet of North American long-term strategic growth for the 21st century.
And what about India?
After just a few days in India one realizes that it is on the verge of something big. Fifteen years ago I would have said that the big event in store for India was some sort of massive social collapse - it felt like a massive failed state just about to happen. But it didn't happen and it hasn't happened. Ten years ago things started looking up and five years ago the idea of collapse seemed impossible, distant and queer. Today there are parts of India that seem almost pleasant and hopeful! With India and China collaborating on their futures as neighbors and super-economies to-be, one can only wonder what tomorrow will bring.
