But what the hell do I know?: An incident at Valdosta

Our very own "talking-point troll,*" Bedrocktruth reveals the writing skill upon which he built a career in the newspaper business in a piece called "An Incident at Valdosta" which somehow slipped through the cracks here when he originally posted it on his blog.

The man is no stranger to the pen (keyboard?) and one wonders what he could accomplish if he used his powers for good instead of evil.

Please give the piece a quick read through and leave BRT some feedback. Be forewarned, however: The second sentence contains the phrase "liberal poowaddle." Fortunately he recovers from that gaffe quickly and ends up delivering quite nicely in the end.

*It didn't occur to me that BRT was our very own "talking-point troll" until paperwight pointed it out in comments on Jack*'s blog. It kind of makes me feel special inside.
